Dr. Rachel K. Quick, PHD is a leading scholar and media expert specializing in CRITICAL MEDIA ANALYSIS, Black media HISTORY, BLACK NEWS podcasting, POLITICAL ECONOMY, and PODCASTING FOR social change. With a PhD in Communication and Media Studies, Dr. Quick's research focuses on the intersections of race, media representation, and the role of Black-owned media in shaping public discourse. Her dissertation provides in-depth analyses of YOUTUBE AND IHEARTMEDIA Black NEWS podcasts and networks, offering a critical examination of media funding, ownership diversity, and the impact of corporate partnerships on Black media platforms.
